The Airflow Control Valve allows you to increase or decrease airflow to your preference providing a better vaping experience.
Remove the normal bottom base of your Protank (or similar clearomizer / Tank) – Remember to have the Tank upside down so as not to spill any e-liquid.
If the Airflow Control Valve does not have a small white silicon seal remove the seal from your normal bottom base and place into position on the Airflow Control Valve. This will help to stop any leakage of e-liquid.
Un-screw the Atomizer Coil from the normal bottom base and screw it into the Airflow Control Valve. Then screw the Airflow Control Valve onto your Tank as you would with the normal bottom base.
Your upgraded Protank is now complete and ready to use.
Adjusting the Airflow
To change the Airflow simply twist the knurled ring to your preferred position (you will notice 3 air-holes) – by twisting the knurled ring you will expose / cover up these air-holes thus allowing more/less air through when you inhale.
There is no perfect position as the amount of air intake is at the user’s preference. You will get a feel for it and know what’s right for you.
Always wash your hands after the above installation operation as you may have got some e-liquid on your skin.
Always keep a tissue to hand to wipe up any spills/wipe your hands.
From time to time some e-liquid may settle in the bottom of the Airflow Control Valve – this is to be expected and you might notice a slight “gurgling” sound and a reduction of vapour.
To solve this simply un-screw the Airflow Control Valve from your Tank and remove the Atomizer Coil from the Airflow Control Valve and poke some rolled up tissue or an ear-bud into the centre hole of the Airflow Control Valve to mop up any e-liquid.
Re-assemble and you should be good to go again. If you are still experiencing “gurgling” sounds or a reduction of vapour then it might be time to change the Atomizer Coil.
