ALL OUR UK E-LIQUID IS FULLY TPD COMPLIANT
All of our e liquid is made right here in the UK. Your e liquid can be used immediately but we recommend that you let your new delivery steep. Steeping, for e liquid purposes, simply means to let your e liquid stand for a few days to allow all the flavours to marry, develop and mature at the molecular level and so provide optimum flavour.
You may observe that the liquid will start to get darker after a few days of steeping - this is perfectly normal.
Storage Advice
The storage life of unopened bottles is in excess of 18 months. Store e-liquid upright, in a cool dark but well-ventilated area, in a locked cupboard or drawer, out of reach from any children or pets and away from food and drink.
Keep away from naked flames or sources of heat as heat will degrade the nicotine in your eliquid.
A different Flavour in your Tank/Clearomizer
If you like to try different flavours regularly it is wise to have a number of tanks (one for each flavour), or to change coils before filling a tank with a new flavour as mixing flavours can sometime give you odd results and not to good a taste (sometimes you can make a new flavour that you might like !!).
If you are short of tanks or coils it's best to give your tank and coil a clean before changing flavours (please follow the guidelines for your particular tank).
E Liquid Ingredients
Our e liquid only contains 3 ingredients plus Nicotine if required:
Vegetable glycerine and propylene glycol are simply additives from the food industry used, for example, to sweeten or preserve food. Flavourings are blended to create our differing range of flavours. Nicotine needs no introduction, other than to say it is the only toxic part of eliquid.
When you see an eliquid listed as 70% VG, this means that 70% of the blend is VG, while the remaining 30% is PG, flavourings and nicotine (for those blends that contain nicotine). Flavourings make up around 15% - 20% of the eliquid.
How the Blend Affects Vape Experience
VG is thick in its consistency, and as a result a high VG blend can create lots of vapour. High VG eliquids require more power from the device and are typically used with high wattage devices known as Sub-Ohm Mods with wattage ranges from 20 watts upwards.
A smaller, pen-style low powered device would struggle to heat high VG blends effectively. Also, the coils within the tanks on these devices sometimes clog up with high VG liquids as they are not designed to cope with thicker liquids.
PG is thinner and therefore needs less power to create the vapour, but less vapour is produced. PG also gives you the throat hit that’s similar to the feeling of smoking a cigarette.
As it’s the vapour that carries the flavours and the nicotine, creating more vapour will potentially bring more of those features.
Because of the dense vapour from high VG blends, vaping a high nicotine blend with a high VG blend would deliver much more nicotine than an average person needs. So when using high VG blends it’s common and sensible to reduce the nicotine levels in the eliquid to compensate for the increase in vapour (and accompanying nicotine delivery).
In contrast vapers using the high PG blends that are suited to lower powered devices tend to use a higher nicotine content because the vapour produced is less dense and therefore can’t carry as much.
Ultimately the blend is a very individual thing, and not all eliquid ingredients are agreeable to everyone. It’s a good idea to experiment with the different ratios in pursuit of your perfect blend.
